Why did I get to this page? You ask....
I get literally get hundreds of emails daily from this site, my hobby. Although I do like to hear from other collectors the world over, I am deluged with requests and other emails that take time away from my family, my little toy car passion, and my "real" job. I have a request of visitors to this site: Please read the following before you email me, to make my life easier and less problematic.
Please know that I always appreciate emails from my known circle of friends and associates.

I do not give values for toys or collections for sale or auction without recompense. I am a collector with an extensive knowledge of most Matchbox and other toy cars. I do work with people trying to value their toys for sale or insurance purposes for a fee. If you want to know the value of your toy, consider buying the books at the bookstore below, or at your local bookseller.

I am interested in collections or individual items for sale. I may decline the offers due to personal situations, overvaluing by seller, or any number of reasons. There is a for sale area on the MCCH for this. Follow the link below to the discussion conferences.

Likewise, I care not a whit about the items you are selling on evilbay, yahoo, or your own website. I search out what I wish to buy.

I do enjoy trades with people throughout the world. Sometimes I am able to find things here that people cannot get in their own country, and I am more than happy to help. Let me know.

I do not buy any current toy from a private, non-retail source. This is known as "scalping". Participation in scalping causes the collector to pay a higher cost to collect, and is a deplorable burden in the competition to fill the niche within our collections. I am about as "anti-scalping" as they come!

I am NOT interested in any non-diecast business with anybody who emails or telephones me. I will not send money to Nigeria, I do not pay for placement in search engines, and I resist almost all pleas for help where money is solicited. If you do send me an offer for ink cartridges, etc., I will be sure to NOT EVER buy anything from that source. If you call, be sure that your caller ID information is displayed, as I do not receive calls from unknown persons.
We encourage each one of our visitors to register as a member and log into the discussions. This is a privately funded site, supported by the administrator and collector donations. By registering and logging in, the site places a "cookie" to remember you by onto your disk, and allows us to utilize the site's resources to email you or send messages to you. Therefore, you should enable "cookies" to use this site and its capabilities. You must also give a real email address. We do not track visitors for any purpose other than this.
