Dear Administrators, Moderators, Members, Members, and Friends of the MCCH-e were severely hacked earlier this week. Our server was co-opted for an attack on ebay, paypal, and banks in a phishing scheme. The FBI is involved and this was a major crime. The perpetrator traces to Romania, where I doubt he shall ever be caught.

Suffice it to say, that we lost quite a bit. I have it backed up, but I am more concerned with getting back to a new forums than I am converting the back ups to restore things. It was plain that our forum software was to blame, as there was a "Five Star" security breach published for it.

This necessitated obtaining new software and also necessitates a new forum address.

Please go and register for the new forums, as I do not know when I shall get the chance to recover all our old member files and info directly. You will need to specify a new Username and password. Please consider using something close to what you had before so we have some continuity! I shall approve memberships on at least an hourly basis during my waking hours for the next week.

Also, know that this forum is no different--- You need to allow cookies and give permission in your firewall programs!here are several banned email account addresses, if you get this message and absolutely do NOT have a root address, please email me with your preferred username and password and I'll bypass that requirement.

For those corporate folks that I assisted in the past for setting up accounts, I shall send that information in a separate email to you directly.

This new software has many new features, of which I am only now learning. PLEASE bear with my learning it and the slowness with which I do things! I shall try to get us back to where we were as soon as I can. I may be delayed in replying to emails or queries too.

As always, the MCCH is a free site that depends upon donations of its members and the efforts volunteers to run it smoothly. There is no charge for the site.
