So thanks to you guys here, especially Tinman and Brad Pittiful, I am now the new owner of this great model. I do not have many regular wheels but I will buy them if I think the price is right. I would have never known to look out for the ‘gray hook’ without the folks here so I am grateful for that.

I was feeling lucky on an auction for this 13D wrecker. In the pictures it only showed a reverse color wrecker box and a model with a gray hook – in a dark, poorly lit photo that ended on a weekday on OFAS. I decided to put up a decent bid on it of $55. Of course the final bid was nearly that, being $53 as I remember. But the model arrived today and I am very happy.

Behold the wonderful silver grill. I think I got a good price on it, but I guess it does not matter as it will not be sold again in my lifetime
