I meant it as such. I am buying what you're selling.
Looking for scarce Lesney Superfast, Brazil and preproduction models.

I didn't doubt that you can hurt yourself with tools, been there, don't that.

Unless you have video or eye witness evidence of the person who made the scraping marks, it will remain a theory
as to how the marks were made. And, I only doubt the part about the path the alleged screw driver took after the
    alledged prying of the base.
Wouldn't one make a twisting motion with a screw driver to pry something, not a "pulling up" motion.

I've eaten a lot of oysters. The shuckers push and twist with their knives. The protective glove is so they don't stab the
other hand while pushing It is really unlikely that a shucker would stab himself in the face or head if he knife slipped. Because they aren't pulling up on the knife.

That's two different incidents which you may be confusing. No one stabs themselves in the face shucking oysters (except maybe Barney Fife or the Duffer).

The rocking or twisting motion will not pop the base free and open the peen on the rivet. It takes brute force to do that. You have to keep the flat side of the screwdriver in contact with as much metal as possible to keep from badly damaging the casting. The slip would have happened because the tip was not seated very deeply between the two parts (while exerting force).

The path is clear when viewed in person and once it stops removing all the paint, it leaves a light scratch in the paint which plots its path. It begins very wide and then just the corner of the screw driver causes the damage. Since you can see the mark made by the insertion of "a" screwdriver, it is only logical that the same driver made the gouge.

Like I mentioned, twisting is just going to tear up the casting. Insert and pry firmly, which involves pushing or pulling with force. The object was not to tear up the lower edge of the body casting with the sharp outside edges of a screwdriver (as twisting would do), but to remove the base and at the same time UN-peen the rivet for reuse.

Sure, your theories are excellent and we've all injured ourselves with metal objects - but my question is "Why would someone do that to the Pony Trailer?" ??

Why? Because they can. Year after year, we keep seeing these same kind of things using play worn toys and nicer castings too. One thing is for sure, a play worn pony trailer (with no ponies or box) won't bring home twenty bucks. Maybe some do these kind of things for the money and other for fun ... regardless, it seems people just can't resist creating this kind of stuff.

Practice your craft on a cheap pony trailer and save the money making castings for when you get it right.

These people should be horse whipped. And how about the guys that show their wares only to increase sales on evil auction sites.
