Volvo Estate K-74

Helo.
I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Martin, 31 years old, from Poland. I've got a small collection of cars (around 300 pieces, mostly superfast of 70's & 80's, some superkings & speedkings and italian bburago). I'm planning to show them on my website ( www.matchbox.com.pl ) but still lacking time to get on with the job.
I've got a question about one model of superkings. I've been searching around for a Volvo Estate K-74 but... with round headlamps. The point is that I've never found any, all available models have square lamps. The only picture of a model with round headlamps is in the Matchbox 1979/80 catalogue.
My question is... is the model with round headlamps so rare or maybe was never produced (the catalogue one was a prototype or sth.) ???

Second, I haven't seen that Volvo version myself, but you may contact member Wolfie Ginsburg to get better information, he can provide you some good information on Superkings.

BTW...nice collection of cars on your website. You've got Poison Pinto by Hotwheels... I feel a special affection to this model although it is one of a few Hotwheels cars in my collection. I guess it is quite rare in Europe.

The Poison Pinto is a custom. Being the site in Spanish, I suppose that could lead to som confusion. I plan to make it multilingual when I have more time.

The K-74 Volvo with round headlights exists only as a pre-production.

The original release of this model from Lesney in Metallic red had a working front bumper that bounced back via a spring when you pushed it in.

This model also had UK license plate stickers that you could add to the model - I repainted mine White many a year ago (going thru a mad phase), but re-bought and original and boxed version of :censor::censor::censor::censor: - a great looking model.

Thanx everyone for info. Now I know there is no point in chasing for round headlamps Volvos... I'll get one with square headlamps.
Keefyd... I'm a webmaster myself (my company www.aigel.com.pl - everything and every projekt done by me). If you want something let me know. I do everything by myself, got all the graphics in corel files so you can resize them nicely before applying to the website design.

I actually to web design myself, but no where near as good - all self taught, so I get by the best I can......
